Money Yatra Associates LLP follows a structured onboarding process for all new investors to ensure regulatory compliance, proper risk profiling, and transparent service delivery.
Onboarding Flow

INITIAL CONTACT & NEED ASSESSMENT
Investor approaches us or is referred. We understand their financial goals, investment horizon, and basic requirements. We explain our services, scope (MF/SIF distribution), and the nature of our relationship (execution-only, not advisory).

KYC VERIFICATION
Complete KYC as per SEBI/AMFI norms. Collect PAN, Aadhaar, address proof, bank details, photograph. Verify via CAMS KRA / CVL KRA / CKYC. In-Person Verification (IPV) recorded for non-Aadhaar OTP routes. FATCA/CRS self-certification collected.

RISK PROFILING
Investor completes the 12-question Risk Profiling Questionnaire (RPQ). Score is calculated to determine risk category: Very Conservative, Conservative, Moderate, Growth, Aggressive, or Very Aggressive. Risk profile is documented and signed by the investor.

SUITABILITY ASSESSMENT
Based on the risk profile, investment horizon, and financial goals, we assess suitability of mutual fund categories. Only suitable products are recommended. If the investor wishes to invest beyond their risk profile, an Unsuitability Declaration is obtained.

DISCLOSURE & CONSENT
Risk Disclosure, Commission Disclosure, and Privacy Policy are shared with the investor. Investor signs the Risk Profile Declaration and consents to data processing. Nomination details are captured (opt-in or opt-out).

ACCOUNT SETUP & FIRST TRANSACTION
Investor is onboarded on BSE Star MF. First transaction is processed with proper documentation. Transaction confirmation is shared. Investor is provided access to the Money Yatra app for portfolio tracking.
ⓘ Note: The onboarding process typically takes 1 to 3 working days depending on KYC verification completion and document submission. Investors are kept informed at every stage of the process.
